dependsFT-01003 is a 0.96-inch 1:2 long strip IPS micro TFT color screen. It adopts the mature ST7735S driver solution and 4-wire SPI communication architecture, only occupying 4 IO ports of the main controller, and can be driven by a single 3.3V low-voltage power supply. It is perfectly compatible with the full series of STM32, ESP32, Arduino, and 51 single-chip microcomputers. The screen is equipped with an IPS full-view liquid crystal panel, and its long vertical shape is suitable for devices with narrow and long structures. The native touch-free design simplifies the hardware structure. With its ultra-low power consumption feature, it is widely used in battery-powered portable wearable devices, handheld testing instruments, home appliance status screens and small sensor terminals.

Q1: Can touch function be added to this 0.96-inch long bar screen?
A: The native structure of this model adopts a straight pin header solution, which does not support optional capacitive/resistive touch cover for the time being. If touch interaction is required, you can choose our square TFT module with FPC interface from the same series.
Q2: Can a 51 single-chip microcomputer drive this display? Will there be screen refresh lag?
A: It is fully compatible with 51 single-chip microcomputers. The screen adopts SPI high-speed communication, with 80*160 low resolution and ST7735S driver chip. Ordinary 8-bit 51 single-chip microcomputers have no obvious lag during normal screen refresh. If high-speed animation effects are required, it is recommended to use it with ESP32 and STM32 main controllers.
Q3: Can the screen backlight be turned off in sleep mode to reduce power consumption? What is the minimum achievable power consumption?
A: The backlight pin BL supports level switch and PWM dimming. When the device is in sleep mode, the backlight is turned off, and the screen standby power consumption can be reduced to less than 0.8mA, which greatly extends the battery life of lithium battery devices; the backlight brightness is steplessly adjustable from 0~100%, which is suitable for various usage scenarios such as indoor and outdoor environments.
